  • Conducting baseline field studies in various disciplines, including hydrogeology, fisheries, aquatic resources, navigable waters, surface water quality, soils and overburden, vegetation, wildlife, archaeology, and meteorology
  • Managing and reporting results of multiple disciplines
  • Managing and preparing the Environmental Assessment Certificate (EAC) Application
  • Contributing to First Nations and community engagement activities
  • Liaising with federal and provincial environmental regulatory authorities and other Project stakeholders
  • Preparatory arrangements for mine permitting

 

About this mining project

The proposed Kutcho Project is a high-grade copper-zinc-gold-silver deposit, operated by Kutcho Copper Corp., a subsidiary of Capstone Mining Corp. The Kutcho Project is located approximately 330 km north of the town of Smithers in the Liard mining district in northern British Columbia. The site is accessible by air or, during summer months, by road via a 120 kilometre long seasonal road from Dease Lake. The Project is in the advanced development stage.
