Kinder Morgan Canada Inc., Trans Mountain Pipeline Expansion Project
Allnorth was hired to provide support to Kinder Morgan Canada Inc. with their Oil and Gas Commission (OGC) permit applications, and the preparation of a cost estimate for road and bridge upgrades and construction.
Allnorth’s scope of work included inspection of 879 kilometres of new and proposed road upgrades. The project passed through a variety of terrains from Jasper to Hope: from the Rocky Mountains through the valleys and dryer terrain of Kamloops, to the Coastal mountains.
Once all roads and bridges were reviewed in the field, they were assigned a unique road classification. These road classifications were then used to determine the estimated upgrade and construction costs.
Data gathered from the field evaluation was managed in ArcGIS, and was used to generate Kinder Morgan’s ePASS permit submissions to BC OGC.
