Bleach Plant Separation, Prince George Pulp and Paper Mill, Canfor Pulp LP
Allnorth provided a capital cost estimate, detailed design and construction management services for this project, which required splitting a single-line bleach plant into a two-line bleach plant. The scope of work involved designing extensive piping systems that would keep existing washers and stock towers intact. Complex tie-in work was conducted that allowed the entire project to be commissioned without interrupting mill operations. In addition, the design and implementation provided flexibility that would allow the mill to be converted to a single-line 5-stage bleach plant, if required.
Allnorth’s responsibilities for this project included:
- Project management
- Process engineering
- 3D scanning/modeling
- Mechanical engineering
- Piping design
- Construction management
